1st March is here! 🙌 I love this time of year

Most people assume group training is one size fits all. ⁣
⁣
Everyone does everything the exact same. It's glorified circuit classes! 👀 ⁣
⁣
Well it might be at some places, but at JMcC we see it as private coaching. ⁣
⁣
Every client has different: ⁣
⁣
🎯 Goals ⁣
🏋‍♂️ Levels of fitness ⁣
📖 Past history of training ⁣
🥞 Nutrition needs⁣
⏳️ Time limits⁣
👷‍♀️ Work patterns⁣
🏥 Medical history ⁣
👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 Family situation ⁣
Etc. ⁣

I could go on. But basically what I'm saying is, if we treat every single person the same without considering any of the above, then we are doing them a disservice plus they won't get results! ⁣

So how do we cater for everyone's needs? ⁣
⁣
With our group training I've combined how I used to do 1 to 1 sessions with the positives of group training to ensure I can get the client the best result possible. ⁣
⁣
So here's how: ⁣
⁣
🤝 We train in a group capacity but my conversations with my clients are on a 1 to 1 basis. We have our own private chats plus we have check-ins every Friday so I know how each client is getting on. ⁣
⁣
👋 My coaching team checks in with our clients 3x per week, plus they are usually on the gym floor with us 3-4 times per week also. This makes our programme very submersible. ⁣
⁣
📝 All potential clients fill in application forms. This is the most important bit. This might seem like we are being ‘picky’, but it's more for the client. If I know their back story I can ensure I have a plan laid out for the next number of months before they have even set foot in the gym. ⁣
⁣
I usually find out why they couldn't get a result before and I know what to set in place so I can ensure this issue doesn't occur again. ⁣
⁣
I think I have went on enough for now - I'll maybe do a part 2 on this post because I've just scratched the surface. ⁣
⁣
I hope though that if you are thinking of group sessions but you aren't sure you will get the support and accountability, you now know that won't be the case at JMcC. ⁣
